This steel rough-in installation bracket is designed for use with 3" and 5" slim recessed LED downlights in new construction applications. It installs before drywall and serves as a guide for cutting or routing the ceiling opening. The bracket comes ready for use with a 3" recessed downlight, and the center ring can be knocked out for use with a 5" recessed downlight.
