The Westinghouse Lighting Sidemount Plus Fan Box is designed for secure installation of ceiling fans or light fixtures in new construction or remodel applications, including finished ceilings without attic access. This all-metal support box attaches directly to an existing ceiling joist and features dual mounting capability for heavier fans, fixtures, cover plates, and lightweight lighting.
