PROLIGHTING carries the Lutron PowPak RF 5A Relay Module with Softswitch. This radio frequency device uses Lutron's patented Softswitch technology to handle general-purpose loads inputted from RF devices such as Pico controls and Radio Powr Savr occupancy and daylight sensors. The Clear Connect RF technology provides reliable wireless communication and compatible with the Lutron Vive hub.

The patented Softswitch stops relaying mechanical arcing at mechanical contacts, extending relay life to an average of 1 million cycles.

A LED status light provides current load status while giving programming feedback as well. This module also comes with power failure memory, meaning that if the power supply is interrupted, connected loads will return to the loads they were running at before the loss of power. You can also override daylight by pressing the on button on any associated Pico.

About Lutron:

Lutron designs and manufactures automated light and shade controls for homes and commercial applications. Our story began in the late 1950s in Joel Spira’s makeshift lab in New York City. A young physicist fascinated by the aesthetic manipulation of light, Spira commandeered the spare bedroom in the apartment he shared with his wife, Ruth, and set out to invent a solid-state device that would enable people to vary the intensity of the lights in their homes. The result? The world’s first solid state dimmer-and the birth of the lighting control industry. Since then, Lutron has been busy innovating. We hold over 2,700 worldwide patents and were the first company to create a system of dimmer and motorized window shades for controlling both electric light and daylight.
