The pop-up outlet box was specifically constructed to meet the latest 2020 NEC Code 406.5E requirements for kitchen countertops and spill protection. The pop-up has passed the UL 498 1/2 gallon spill test in the open position. The durable metal top is a dark bronze finish that is perfect for matching dark countertops and oil-rubbed bronze fixtures. When in the closed position, the outlet sits recessed on the counter, creating a sleek and attractive appearance. When access to power is needed, simply press the button and the outlet flips up for use.
