Comprehensively tested and designed to the latest UL standard for safety and reliability, this Kidde DETECT alarm is powered by 120V AC with 2 AA replaceable backup batteries (included) for continual detection even during outages. Plus, it’s self-testing and easy to install with the included twist-and-click mounting bracket. Equipped with end-of-life notifications, the alarm will beep to remind you it’s time to replace it 10 years after it is powered. The alarm also has interconnected alarm activation so you never miss an emergency and can get out faster.
