Comprehensively tested and designed to the latest UL standard for safety and reliability, this FireX alarm is powered by a 120V AC with 2 AA replaceable backup batteries (included) for continual detection even during outages and alerts you to both smoke & carbon monoxide (CO) using a single, cost-effective device. Plus, it’s self-testing and easy to install with the included twist-and-click mounting bracket. Equipped with end-of-life notifications, the alarm will beep to remind you it’s time to replace it 10 years after it is powered. This model also features voice alerts that let you know exactly why your alarm is sounding and interconnected alarm activation so you never miss an emergency and can get out faster.
