Utilize the DMF Lighting Surface Frame New Construction Junction Box to install your DMF DRD5S and DRD2 series LED surface mounts when installing in new construction applications to provide multiple various ratings to the downlight. The ultra-low profile allows it to install in as little as 2" of ceiling space when 5/8" drywall is used.

- Code compliant for use in appropriate fire-rated assemblies up to a maximum of 2 hours
- Insulation contact (IC) rated
- ASTM E283 certified air-tight
- STC/IIC sound rated
- Equipped with (4) 1/2" trade size knockout to allow straight conduit runs
- Approved for (6) #12 AWG 158º F / 70º C through wiring conductors (3 in / 3 out)
- Pre-installed mounting brackets allow vertical adjustment of bar hangers up to 1"
- Installs in as little as 2" of ceiling space
- Easy to install with tool free height adjustments and pivoting bar hangers
- 4.13" (105mm) octagonal opening
