TENC-325B Product Description

TENC-325B 3.25 Inch 12 Volt Non-IC New Construction Housing is designed for open (pre-drywall) ceilings. Non-IC designation requires that insulation be kept a minimum of 3 inches away from housing. Housing incorporates a plate and hanger bars so the housing can be positioned in the desired location. New construction type housings consists of a frame in plate with the housing components built onto the plate. The can is removed during initial installation and is inserted after the drywall is installed. One 50 watt, 12 volt MR16 type GU5.3 halogen (or LED equivalent) base bulb is required, but not included. Halogen dimmable with a low voltage magnetic dimmer, sold separately. Consult with bulb manufacturer for dimmer compatibility when using LED equivalent (must be compatible with a low voltage magnetic transformer). ETL listed. 11.63 inch width x 5.74 inch height x 11.63 inch length. A complete fixture includes a housing and trim, sold separately.
