Emergency ballast kit for use with recessed LED luminaires. Battery pack circuitry automatically switches LED luminaire between emergency and normal power operation during power loss and restoration. Operates a LED source at a reduced level for a minimum of 90 minutes to allow safe egress during power outage. Upon restoration, luminaire will return to normal AC operation while the emergency battery returns to charging mode.

OPERATION
When AC power fails, the driver immediately switches to the emergency mode, operating the LEDs at a reduced lumen output for a minimum of 90 minutes. When AC power is restored, the emergency driver automatically returns to the charging mode.

Battery
High-temperature, maintenance-free nickel-cadmium battery. Requires 24 hours to recharge battery.

TEST SWITCH:
Integral test switch must be specified on reflector to accept test switch.
